WHERE WE SERVE

India is a country located in South Asia. It is the seventh largest country in the world by area and the second greatest in population with approximately 1.24 billion people.

Religion in India is very diverse with many different beliefs and practices. It is the birthplace of four of the world major religions; Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism. The most dominant religion in India is Hinduism with 80% of Indians being Hindus. Hinduism is a religion with various gods and goddesses. As many of us have traveled the image that is visible is the one that is described above. Many different gods are worshiped, Hinduism rules over the people of India, including many of our children whose backgrounds of are of Hindu roots. It is a heartbreaking picture to see but we believe that with Gods help many hearts will fall in love with and find a personal relationship with Jesus Christ who died for the billions of souls of India. We believe that there is hope for India, and that many more souls will come to worship the one true God.

OUR STORY

God Will Provide Mission begins with a vision to reach the lost in all 195 countries of the world.

The first rehabilitation center in Portland, OR is opened that would be remodeled and enlarged to house 36 people. Through this center, many people would find Jesus and many great leaders would rise up

First missionary trips from America to India begin to bring hope to the people in the state of Meghalaya, city Bangsiapal

Land is bought in Bangsiapal, India with a vision   to construct an orphanage that would later become a home to many children, a hosting point for traveling missionaries, as well as a church for the local Christians.

Through miraculous intervention, the first container with construction  material, clothing, food and other necessities reaches India to continue  building the orphanage and growing the project in India.

The first children are taken into the orphanage, which will be their new home for years to come.

April 15 Official opening of GWP India orphanage. More than 500  people, most of whom were Muslim and Hindu, attend to first hear the Good  News of Jesus Christ. Worship lasted several hours, and a luncheon was  held to feed all who came to share in our joy.

Orphanage in Garo Hills is a home to 39 children. 6 churches are functioning to be Christ’s hands and feet in India. Frequent evangelisms are held where Gods Word, food and other necessities are shared to bring hope to the hopeless.

The work with children continues. our family grew to 40 members.

Lord gave us strong Desire to work with boys and girls separately. throughout the year we were looking for different opportunities to start the new orphanage.

In January of 2017 boy orphanage was opened and 12 boys were moved into their new home. Now GWP ministry in India has two orphanages, one for the boys and the other for the girls.

OUR VISION

Our love for this country, our love for these children, and most of all our love for Christ drives us to fulfill the calling given to us hundreds of years ago. The Great Commission: to father the fatherless, to seek out the lost, to lead the blind, to bandage the sick. Through all methods, bringing the hope that Jesus offers, to the hopeless.

A world of change begins with one. One vision, one dream, one desire, one person. One individual. Special, unique and loved. Making up a family, a village, a country, making up the world. A world of 195 countries, 7 billion inhabitants. 7 billion individuals who can make a change if given a chance. Our vision starts with one.

Our vision is to father the fatherless. To plant a seed into the heart of every child growing up in this orphanage. A seed of knowledge, love, compassion, and an urge to serve. A love of Christ that they can pass down to their friends, neighbors, and the villages they come from. A love that can impact their country.

Our vision is to seek out the lost. Reaching out to neighbors, nearby villages, places which have not yet heard of the gospel, evangelizing and planting churches. There is a need in India of churches that will grow, teach, follow the same vision and change a life one individual at a time.

Our vision is to lead the blind. Many are in the dark about Christ and many who have already received sight have a desire to learn more. There is a need to equip individuals with knowledge. Knowledge that will turn that darkness into light. Our vision is to open bible schools that will prepare individuals to go out and share that light with others around them.

Our vision is to bandage the sick. Not only spiritually but physically. Providing medical help for those in need of it, providing food, clothes and other necessities, and at the same time being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Starting from the heart of a child, reaching the heart of a nation. That is hope for India.

OUR BELIEFS

Our beliefs are based solely on the Bible, and follow the fundamental teachings of New Testament faith. The following are brief explanations of key Bible doctrines:

Bible: We believe that the 66 books of the Old and New Testament are Gods written Word.  It is an authoritative book fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, written with no error, revealing in fullness, God to mankind and His plan for salvation. 2 Timothy 3:16

Trinity: There is one true God existing in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, as the living Word, came to earth in the flesh by the conception of the Holy Spirit and the virgin birth. Living a Holy and sinless life, He died on the cross and rose from the dead, defeating death and redeeming mankind from all bondage of sin. The Holy Spirit is involved in the salvation of mankind on earth; Convicting of sin, drawing to Christ and sealing them until the day of redemption. Matthew 3:16-17; 1 John 5:7.

Salvation is available to all who repent, Isaiah 55:7; Matthew 4:17. turning away from their sin and placing their faith in the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ and confessing Him as their personal Savior. It is the act of God’s grace where we receive forgiveness for sins and stand before God as though we had never sinned. Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Great Commission: We believe in putting our faith into action. Before Jesus ascended to heaven He told His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations. We believe that as Jesus’ followers we must do the same by spreading the love of Jesus throughout the world.Matthew 28:19-20
