When God works on a person it’s truly amazing to see the outcome of it. I want to tell you my experience of how God worked on me while I was in India. In the beginning I didn’t even want to go to India. One day when we were fasting for it God opened up to me that I have to go there, but I had no desire to go there. I began to depend on God to give me desire. And he did.

When I got there everything was a lot more different than America. It was very sad to see how poor people are. How people work their whole lives just to survive. It really made me cherish all the things I have now here in America. In the time period of 3 months that I was there, God taught me how to depend or trust in him. Whenever I would be in a bad situation with one of the kids I would pray inside. And EVERYTIME he would help me. It’s amazing to see how God answers prayers when you depend on him with all your heart. He got me through those 3 months because I depended on Him. He gave me desire to go there because I depended on Him. He helped me fight the spirituals battles and I always came out with victorious because I depended on Him. Even when I was praying and I felt that my heart wasn’t open to Him, I would trust in Him and cry out to Jesus and ask Him to open up my heart in prayer and He did.

I went there to teach 39 little kids, but God brought me there so he could teach me through those little kids. So the biggest thing that God taught me is how to depend on him with everything. Even in the small things in life. Let all the praise and glory go to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ because with out him we are nothing.
